Rates
Fees differ depending on the group or intensive you attend. NorthStar focuses on specialized intensive groups, ongoing process/support groups, and personalized intensives. Our clinicians offer individual and couples sessions other group options through their private practices. Insurance
We do not take insurance; however, depending on your current health insurance provider or employee benefit plan, it is possible for services to be covered in full or in part if you have out-of-network benefits. Please contact your provider to verify how your plan compensates you for psychotherapy services.
We recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine your benefits:
- Does my health insurance plan include out-of-network mental health benefits?
- Do I have a deductible? If so, what is it and have I met it yet?
- Does my plan limit how many sessions per calendar year I can have? If so, what is the limit?
- Do I need written approval from my primary care physician in order for services to be covered?
Payment
We accept cash, check and all major credit cards as forms of payment.
Cancellation Policy
Specialized Intensive Groups require payment in full to enroll in the group. 50% of the fee is refundable through the method used to pay the fee if NorthStar is given at least 30 days notice prior to the first day of the group.
On-going process/support groups require a two-month commitment to join. Beyond the first two months, group membership is renewed monthly. Payment is due monthly and is non-refundable.
Personalized intensives for individuals or couples require payment in full to reserve the dates. Due to the level of preparation put into each intensive and the time commitment, payment is non-refundable within 60 days of the intensive.
